Suitenhotel Laterne

The Christmas decorations had such thoughtful details, which made a real impression on me. I spent three days here over Christmas and had a great time. The room was clean and warm, and seemed recently renovated. Staff were very friendly too. It's right in the heart of the city center, so this is a great choice if you're visiting for Christmas. I'd strongly recommend a visit, especially if you appreciate those little touches.

The location is right in the center, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast was nice, and the room was cute. The balcony is shared with another room, but it's a lovely place to sit. There isn't a proper reception area, so you check in by going through the restaurant door across from the hotel. No coffee maker or kettle in the room, and no air conditioning. It was loud outside because of the restaurants below, and it took me a while to fall asleep. The internet was so-so.

The traditional interior was lovely and well maintained, and breakfast was fine. Our room was big and quite homely, but there weren't enough curtains to cover the window properly. The light woke us and kept us awake. We mostly enjoyed our stay because of the location and friendly staff, though the hotel could use some improvements.
