It was okay.

The buffet had plenty to choose from, and the three-course meal included in our Carnival Escape package was delicious. We sometimes got to use the salad bar too. Staff were attentive and friendly, and daily room service kept everything clean. Our room was quiet and roomy, with a bathroom window. It was on the first floor and only accessible by stairs. Parking was available at the hotel. We hardly ever saw the owners, the mother and son who is the chef, so we didn’t get to speak with them during our stay.
