Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, with smoked salmon, fresh juice, pastries, fruit, vegetables, and plenty more. Arkady served me with a warm smile. I had a vegetable omelet and cappuccino, and passed on the champagne. His professional manner and dry humor put me in a good mood all day. My room was stylish and spotless, with a comfortable bed, crisp white sheets, a balcony, and a window in the roomy bathroom. The restaurant was cozy and attractive, with big windows and tablecloths. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the staff were all pleasant and capable. It’s a beautiful, atmospheric hotel, and I’d happily return.

The staff were so friendly, really excellent. We only spent one night here and were kindly upgraded to a spacious suite. It was tastefully done in a fine Bavarian style, with a large jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was lovely, and the location was great. The bed felt a little too firm for us, since Americans are used to softer beds.

We got caught in the rain while walking, and when we returned, the staff brought cappuccino to the lounge and lit the fire to warm us up. That kind of care made the stay feel special. The lounge itself was quaint and relaxing, breakfast was good, and the location was great. When we arrived in the late afternoon, they had our bags taken to the room and arranged a glass of wine for us in the lounge. Our room was lovely, and everyone was absolutely wonderful. We stayed just one night. Such a gem, highly recommend.

The comfort rooms are perfectly fine, but paying extra for a Superior or Deluxe room is well worth it. We found ours clean, comfortable, and lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great every day. The hotel is ideally placed, with all the sights and activities in Baden Baden just a short walk away. We’ll definitely return.
