8/10
We chose this town because it’s close to the M3, and there’s a petrol station about 1.5 km away with cheaper fuel than on the motorway. Our room was number 35, right at the top of the house. It was spacious enough for a sofa and a child’s bed set up in front of it for our four-year-old, though the bathroom was tiny and the shower cubicle even smaller. Basic, but it worked.

There was plenty of parking, even with our 3.5-ton van, and we slept well. Breakfast was good too, so it made a great stopover.

A good local hotel, though the Wi-Fi is unreliable at times.

The single room was too small for me, but the prices were okay. The hotel was clean, and the people were fantastic, with friendly service and lots of positive energy.

A small hotel, and the breakfast was very good.
