Brera Serviced Apartments Ulm

I was told check-in was at 3:00 PM, but when I arrived at 7:00 PM the room still hadn’t been cleaned. I contacted the manager, who said someone else would call. They called once, but my phone battery had run out, so I ended up sleeping in my car. The next morning I checked my email and found the check-in code had been sent at 3:00 AM. If you don’t speak English, you shouldn’t rent these apartments. I’m asking for a refund now, but no one has responded.

Not bad, about 10 minutes on foot from the HBF central station. You can use your phone to pay for the washer and dryer, and the laundry is on the ground floor. There’s no heating. The rooftop is accessible, while the gym is under construction now (Oct, 2025). You can leave luggage at the office on weekdays from 10:00-18:00, but not on weekends.

I couldn’t sleep because of the smell in the room and hallways. Management said they checked but couldn’t smell anything themselves, though they did offer a 15% discount. I’d never stay there again.

I stayed at Brera Ulm from April 4th to June 20th and was happy with everything except the gym. Across those two and a half months, I could only use it for about one or two weeks. Then it closed indefinitely for what they said was renovation, though I never saw any actual work going on. They pointed me to two other gyms nearby. They were technically walkable, but not exactly close, and I had to pay their fees myself. I picked Brera Ulm partly because the website clearly listed an in-house gym, which mattered since I work out regularly. I couldn’t use that promised facility for almost two months, and as someone who goes to the gym regularly, I felt let down. That’s why I took stars off my rating.
