This boutique hotel is right in the centre, a short walk from the shops and opposite the incredible library. The rooms are small but nicely renovated, clean, and very comfortable, with facilities for making tea and coffee. The staff were the best part. Everyone we met was professional, capable, and friendly, from the two lovely receptionists to the lady in the breakfast room. They’re the nicest employees I’ve met so far. I can recommend staying here without reservation.

A lovely hotel right in the city centre. The family room was beautiful, smelled wonderful, and was very neatly equipped. I’d recommend it.

I had a great, if brief, one-night stay after a week in countryside hotels, as I wanted somewhere in the town centre. I was alone, so I took an einzel Zimmer in the old building. It was stylish, with a big double bed, lovely soft sheets, and the best pillow of my trip. There’s no elevator, but that wasn’t a big deal. At 89e, it was good value for such a chic town. The parking wasn’t really “Free”, though expecting that right in the middle of an old town was optimistic. They found something for 15e.

The whole hotel is cute, especially the breakfast area, and it’s in a great spot close to everything in Ulm. Check-in was easy, and they explained where breakfast was and how to get into the hotel during off hours. The lady I assume was the owner or manager was so kind. She knew enough English to help us Americans experience Germany without much confusion.

We had a wonderful stay. The spacious family room meant we slept well, and breakfast was perfect. We loved the decorations on the hard-boiled eggs. Ulmer Münster, well worth seeing inside and out, lots of shopping, the Danube, and plenty of restaurants are all within a 5-minute walk. Sorry we slept so well that we didn’t make the beds when we checked out!
