B&B Hotel Ulm

The room was roomy and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. My only issue inside was the heating. The huge window walls were cold, and the AC and portable heater the hotel provided couldn’t warm the room as quickly as it lost heat. Check-in was smooth and fully digital. Booking a garage space was just as easy, though I had to go to the front desk for the code to access it. There are plenty of spaces on the second underground level, but the entrance is narrow, so watch out if you have a tall or large car.

A really nice standard room, with clean bedding, a clean room, and strong water pressure. There’s an underground garage, and dogs are welcome for a reasonable fee. If you’re in Ulm or heading there, check out this hotel. I highly recommend it.

B&B Hotel Ulm has a smart, functional setup: keyless access to the main entrance and your assigned room, with the code sent by email or SMS. I also liked not having to go to reception to check out. They let me check in as early as 3PM without a fee, though that depends on the case. It’s within walking distance of Ulm Hbf and easy to find if you know your way around Google Map. The surroundings were clean, from the doorknob and bedsheets to the toilet, and surprisingly quiet. I stayed on Christmas Eve and everything seemed peaceful. A good fit for guests who value practical design and efficiency.

I booked because the hotel advertised 24/7 check-in. When I arrived at 2am, the check-in machine was out of order. I called the hotlines and sent a message, but nobody answered, so I couldn’t get the room number needed to enter the hotel and my room. I had to keep going on a 16-hour drive. The next morning I called B&B Ulm directly to ask for a refund, and an employee oddly told me off. This is insane!
