After years of travelling, this was easily one of the most unprofessional hotel experiences I’ve had. We booked and paid in full about a month ahead through booking applications, where the place was listed as Atrium Plus Hotel. When we arrived in the evening, we waited quite a while for anyone to appear at reception. The receptionist searched my name and casually said there was no reservation. I gave the booking number and explained it was paid, but there was no apology, investigation, supervisor, or attempt to find a solution. They acted as if it didn’t matter. When I asked why the name on booking platforms and Google Maps was different, I was told the hotel had “changed its name.” Taking bookings under the old name without properly updating platforms and maps is confusing and highly unprofessional. I also asked where we could park. The only answer was to look around and park wherever there was a free spot, which was neither helpful nor professional.

We arrived late at night with a valid booking number for our one-night stay, and the payment had already been taken from our account. Still, the front desk casually said no reservation existed and made no effort to check or help. We were left stressed and had to find another hotel. The reservation handling and staff behavior were seriously unprofessional. Not recommended at all.

The breakfast food and its quality were very good, and everything else was comfortable and nice. But the woman working breakfast at 9am on Sunday was really rude. She didn’t even answer our “good morning” and rolled her eyes when we asked her something.

They said they accept dogs, but wouldn’t let us book with ours even though they had availability. The site showed 5 rooms open!

I came down from ULM bus station on a cool morning, unsure if I’d find a room. The warm reception sorted it out and gave me a peaceful ground-floor room. It was well kept and had everything in place, matching the welcome at reception. Breakfast had a good spread in a beautiful spot on the premises, and the restaurant staff were just as supportive and caring. A great place if you like staying a little away from busy streets.
