Seligweiler Hotel & Restaurants

The food was really good. The older woman who was helping us wasn't very friendly, though, and got a bit angry when we couldn't understand her German. I hope she changes how she treats people.

The room was warm, and there's a restaurant here too. Breakfast had a good selection, and the spa was very good. We'd definitely stay again.

The price felt far too high for the space and the quality, especially the terrible food. The breakfast room looked like a conference room converted with very little effort, and had a Soviet vibe. Staff often looked at us like we were intruding, and when we came for breakfast they asked for our room number in a fairly aggressive way instead of politely. There was mold all over the curtains, walls and small gaps in the lining. The shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere. Even with the splash curtain fully closed, water got all over the place because the curtain was too short and useless. The beds were tiny, so I barely fit. I had to fold the pillow and leave half of it hanging off the bed. The charger beside the bed was broken and placed right by your head. Looking out the window, all you could see was a concrete wall. Afterwards, though, the staff were very nice.

After a long drive, I had everything I needed: a clean, fully equipped room and a great breakfast included. They took me in at very short notice last night for a reasonable rate, and there was plenty of parking, even for my fairly large van.
