Iq Hotel Ulm

Thanks to Alexandra and her wonderful team! The hotel was pleasant, in a nice quiet spot close to the hospital. The nearest bus stop is 300m away and takes you into town. Breakfast was a nice buffet, and juices, coffee, and tea were available until 10pm.

I spent a week here on a business trip and would definitely recommend it. The hotel stayed very quiet inside even during Schwörmontag, Ulm's biggest festival. Rooms were clean and practical, and the service was efficient. The breakfast was phenomenal, with daily scrambled eggs and ham, antipasti, and European cheeses. On weekends it went beyond a typical German breakfast, with cheesecake and pasta salad too. There were only a few towels, and dedicated EV chargers would be a nice addition, but those little issues didn't outweigh the good service and breakfast.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, and I slept well. Breakfast had a good selection, and there were plenty of parking spaces. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Coffee, tea, fruit juice, and fruit were free in the communal area. The one problem was that the internet didn't work on the first floor. The staff apologized and said there was an issue. Still, it was a good location for a short stay.

We were four sharing a clean, modern room, and it stayed quiet until morning rush hour. With the window open, traffic noise then became intrusive. The shower was great, with strong water pressure, and they supplied shower gel, towels, and hand soap. Ulm Hospital is close enough to walk to. The reception was very clean, with drinks and fruit available until 10pm, plus free board games and reading material. Breakfast was an exceptionally good buffet, including Mediterranean-style tapas and lots of vegetarian choices. The staff were so friendly and helpful, with plenty of tips for enjoying Ulm. Thank you!
