Scotty + Emily Hotel Ulm, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

Our stay was a real letdown, and after years of traveling I can hardly remember a hotel experience that felt this unprofessional. We had booked and paid in full about a month ahead. The property appeared as Best Western Plus Atrium Hotel on booking apps, but a different name was displayed over the entrance. We arrived in the evening and waited a long time before anyone came to the desk. When I asked where to leave the car, I was told to look around and take any free space. That wasn't useful or professional. Then the receptionist checked my name and casually said there was no reservation. I gave the booking number and explained that we'd already paid, but nothing changed. Nobody apologized, looked into it, called a supervisor, or tried to find a solution. The response was so relaxed it seemed like the problem didn't matter. I also asked about the different hotel names on the booking sites and Google Maps. I was told the hotel had “changed its name.” Taking bookings under the old name without updating those listings is confusing for guests and, to me, highly unprofessional.

The room was nice, and breakfast starts at 6:30 or 7:00 and was good. Parking near the hotel is sometimes available. For large tour buses, though, the road is narrow and there's little room to drop guests off.

The team were so kind and ready to help, and breakfast had pretty much anything you'd want. Our room was spotless and well looked after, with parking right outside. It's an incredibly beautiful hotel, and I'd happily return and recommend it. Thanks so much for everything ❤️

We loved breakfast here. The room has a pleasant design and huge windows to look out through, the staff were very friendly, and there was a good range of food. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was small but worked perfectly well. The window faced the street, so it could have been quieter, especially since I don't like keeping windows shut. We arrived very late, after reception had closed, but the key box check-in worked without a hitch. This was our first time here since we usually stay downtown. We'd heard mixed things from before the new management arrived, so we were pleasantly surprised. It's easy to reach by car from Ulm, and we'd gladly stay again.
