B&B Hotel Kassel-Industriepark

The room itself was good, but the hotel is out in an industrial area rather than the city centre. You also get charged for parking on your bill, with no mention of the extra cost when booking. Since most guests arrive by car, that adds up for a lot of people. I’d rather pay a bit more for a hotel where parking is free.

I remember this place being much better when it was an ibis hotel. I booked and paid for the rooms through booking, without breakfast, but at reception they said I hadn’t paid. Then the receptionist booked four breakfasts, while in the morning I was told there were only two. There were problems all over the booking. The rooms were average, and the bathroom lights kept flickering. I’m afraid I may have to switch to another hotel now that the company has changed.

The breakfast was poor, there wasn’t enough parking for all the guests, and the staff barely managed to communicate in English. If saving money is your only concern and you don’t mind a room that isn’t clean, this may suit you. For safety and comfort, I’d definitely recommend avoiding it.

It’s a dog-friendly hotel, and the rooms are nice. The location is in an industrial area, so it’s only ok, but the staff are nice and I’m always grateful for good service.
