Deutscher Hof

Breakfast was a nice buffet, and the hotel itself was clean, though there was a strange smell. Some information in the room in English would’ve helped. The receptionist didn’t speak English, so it was hard to find out how to charge our car.

The staff were warm and helpful the whole time, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with fast Wi-Fi and a generous breakfast. Hotel Deutscher Hof is right in central Kassel, making it easy to walk to the main attractions. It was a perfect base for exploring.

The room was roomy, had air conditioning, and the bed was comfortably firm. We slept really well. The shower had no door, though, so water tended to splash out. Getting to the city center was convenient. There are plenty of paid street spaces nearby, and electric cars can park free for up to three hours. The hotel also has parking for €10 a day. Breakfast was a simple, standard German spread. The breakfast staff were friendly, quick to clear used dishes, and always smiling.

It’s a very nice hotel in a convenient spot, with clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Paid parking is available, which is useful since sorting out parking otherwise can be a bit difficult.
