Hotel Crede garni

The service was very nice, breakfast was good, and the car park was easy to get to. It’s a small, simple place and good value. Our room felt a bit cold for a winter stay. It was fine for one night, though for a longer visit it’d be nice to have drinking water or a kettle and some tea in the room.

We were there for three nights in the last week of June, my wife and I, for Documenta in Kassel. The hotel is well placed right on the tram line. There was construction underway, with extra floors, a new entrance, dining area and other work, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. It was quiet, the beds were great, and for now we’d suggest a street-side room. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was being served temporarily, and you could take it back to your room if you wanted. We just had good coffee before heading out for the day. From what we’ve seen of a few Kassel hotels, this is one of the better ones, and should be even better once the work is done. The style is clean and functional, not gaudy or tacky, and the place feels professional. Everything we expect from a hotel was there. We highly recommend it. Thank you.

A quiet, clean, cozy place to stay, also fairly close to the center. Recommended.

Really nice for the money, and the location in the city isn’t bad at all. The staff are very kind, and they speak good English too.
