The location is handy, very close to the train station and supermarkets. I’m not a smoker, so I didn’t like that the smoking area was right outside reception. The door is always open, and smoke drifts into the sitting area. The staff were lovely, the gym was nice and large, and breakfast was pretty good, German style.

For a small hotel, it had pretty much everything I needed: clean, comfortable, quiet rooms; affordable, tasty dinner with beer on tap; fast internet; and low prices. The service was polite and good, and they paid attention to small, useful touches, like a shoehorn, a dryer, and a place to use my laptop with a comfortable chair. Thanks to the staff for making my stay so pleasant!

This rating is for the restaurant, not the hotel. The lamb dish was terrible and seemed microwaved, when it should have been sous vide. The food quality and service were both really bad. Avoid the restaurant at all costs.

It’s a decent place near the train station, with neat, tidy rooms and very friendly staff who were quick to respond. I’ve stayed in two different rooms, and neither had a minibar. The vegetarian food options could also have been better.
