The price is what keeps me from rating it higher. I might come back if it cost less. The harbour and seaside setting are lovely, though, and the rooms were fine, if a little old-fashioned. When I stayed, the man at the desk helped me, but the service didn't feel especially friendly. If the location matters to you, this works well. For a trip where you mainly need a base for the island, I'd choose somewhere nearer the station. The walk is long, and the cost doesn't feel worthwhile for that alone.

The food is decent for the price and the location, though the cooking isn't especially fancy. The menu has a nice range, including vegetarian and vegan choices. The place feels rustic and cozy.

The place itself was okay, but the service was really poor. Our bill was only 9€, and they refused card payment, saying the minimum was 10€. We spent 20 minutes looking for an ATM, but they were all closed, so we paid 10€ and left. Never again!!

Freshly caught fish and good service, right on the quayside. They also have the typical Störtebecker beer.

Good food in a lovely setting. It has the feel of a typical German restaurant.
