Rain, wind, and cold spells didn't stop us enjoying our time in Stralsund, thanks to this cozy, super nice holiday apartment. It had everything we needed and was very well equipped. We felt comfortable here with family or friends. In short, you can book it. Best, Doc Rose

Right in the heart of the old town, the Nikolai apartment also has a beautiful balcony view. Inside, it's exceptionally stylish and furnished to a high standard, with absolutely everything you could wish for. We'll definitely come back!

The brick warehouse is in a central but very quiet spot, with everything in the old town easy to reach on foot. It makes a good base for trips by bike, boat, or car, and Stralsund and the surrounding area have plenty to offer. Compared with other unrestored buildings, it's clear that this one has had an extensive restoration and a considerable amount of money put into it. The beds were comfortable and clean. But the parking area, bike rack, and garden were overgrown and neglected. Privacy and heat protection had been handled with amateurish solutions. The kitchenette looked cluttered with all its appliances, and there was dust and cobwebs in many areas that seemed to be used less often. The shower was unclean, the cookware dirty, and there were loose dangling cables and unused light switches. The owners have clearly spent a lot on renovating this old brick building, but the upkeep has been neglected. Given these problems, we strongly suspect too little time or money is set aside for maintenance. To us it felt more like a profit-driven investment than a place meant to make guests feel at home and come back regularly. We stayed once and won't return.

Great location, everything was very clean, and the amenities were perfect. Beautiful place, we'd gladly come back anytime!
