Breakfast had lots of options and was really nice, and all the staff we met were very friendly. The room was clean and pleasant, though the bathroom was a bit small and the pillows much too flat. Some rooms have balconies. With the window cracked open, street noise came through quite a lot, so I was glad to have earplugs. I’d stay here again.

Getting to Strasbourg by tram is easy, and we found the staff we met helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The location and price are great. Just think of it as a stopover: you check in, sleep, and move on. It’s not the Ritz, with pampering and entertainment, and that’s fine. Nothing more, nothing less.

Peter, our host, was very nice and suggested places to visit and restaurants. Even though the hotel is close to the main road to Strasburg, it’s quiet inside and a good place to rest.

I was there leading a tour group, and everyone was very satisfied with the hotel and how welcome we felt. The receptionists were kind and professional, everything was very clean, and breakfast was great too. Can’t wait to return.

Kehl station is right across the street, with the D tram into Strasbourg city centre. The rooms looked and smelled clean. I couldn’t find the radiator at first because it was hidden behind the curtains. That one was my mistake.
