We were in the spacious family room, with its own bathroom. It was clean, and breakfast had plenty of variety and was good. The central location is handy for getting to the shops.

The hotel and restaurant reopened in summer 2022 under new owners, and we've kept coming back because they maintained the good standards. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, the food and drink are good, and the location is quiet.

The rivers in front of and behind the hotel make for a wonderful setting, and that's why I'd still recommend staying here. Service is good and the rooms are cleaned very well. The downsides for me were the rather hard bed and the showers, where not much hot water comes out.
