The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the staff lovely. It’s a very comfortable hotel in a quiet little town, close to local bus stops and businesses. The kitchen in the room is almost impossible to use, though, since there are no dishes, pots, pans, or utensils.

The host team at Hotel Gastof Traube were wonderful, and the traditional German restaurant had an interior I liked. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. We were in Germany on business with two colleagues, staying in Kernen Im Remstal, a small village near Stuttgart. They gladly arranged taxis from the hotel to the office and later to the airport. One day we asked for breakfast to take away, and they packed burgers, fruit, and water neatly in our room fridge for us. Thanks again to the Hotel Gastof Traube team. We made lovely memories to cherish, and wish you all the best and continued success 😊😀

The employees are very nice, and the place was clean. It’s old, though, and could use some upgrades. The beds need new mattresses. The WiFi was a miserable 0.24 mbit even sitting one room away from the router, which is ridiculous. If you need to work online, save yourself the frustration. I could put up with everything else for one night.

Good value for money, but I didn’t like that one of the workers was smoking inside reception. The whole dining room smelled like an ashtray.

A very nice stay, with a generous breakfast and especially polite service.
