After checking out, I realized I’d left my gold chain in one of the room bathrooms. When I came back, it was gone. The only person in the room after me was the cleaning lady. The receptionist tried calling her, but she didn’t answer. I know for a fact that the cleaning lady took it!

The bedding was clean but uncomfortable, and for the price the stay was okay. The neighborhood felt rough and not safe at all. The parking lot didn’t feel safe either, with some pretty shady people there drinking beer and playing loud music. Don’t come with a car you care about.

The hotel is very central, so getting around Kiel is quick. We stayed one night and were very happy with it. Booking went smoothly, we got a great deal, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and quite spacious. There’s paid parking, though free spaces are also available to the right of the hotel.

The room was okay, but the bathroom was old and cleaning could have been better. Breakfast was bad, and the water they serve is room temperature. Parking cost 15 EUR and should have been included. At two-thirds of the price, I’d have given it 3 stars. Okay for one night maximum.

The room was spacious and clean, with great bunks for the kids, and check-in was easy. There’s free parking at the rear, but it isn’t secure. There were lots of males hanging around the station, so the area felt slightly unsafe.
