The village is lovely, with shops and hiking options, and it’s only 10 minutes from the motorway. The rooms were clean and spacious, though the mattress was on the soft side. The shower and hair dryer were excellent. Breakfast at the Postwirt across the road was excellent, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I recommend booking ahead for dinner.

The breakfast at the Postwirt was very good. The guesthouse itself is centrally located and looks nice from the outside, but there’s no parking right there. A public lot is nearby. Inside, the room was basic and rather rustic, with old, worn furniture and windows that weren’t fully airtight. It was noisy, the bathroom felt like it belonged to my grandmother’s time, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. Finding the right TV channels took ages. It was okay for one night, but I expected more even at this “cheap” price.

The location worked especially well for us because my husband is in rehab, just a five-minute walk away. Breakfast was superb, with something for everyone. Overall, we had a great stay and the value for money was excellent. Thank you so much, I’ll be back! There are a few small maintenance issues: a draft comes in around the window, the room door needs a new rubber seal, and it rattles when the downstairs door opens or closes. They didn’t spoil the stay.

The room was basic but functional, and the service staff were friendly. The owners, though, didn’t make us feel especially welcome. Breakfast was very good with nothing missing, but dinner lacked variety for a half-board booking. There seemed to be a difference in how hotel guests were treated compared with guesthouse visitors who booked through a travel portal. Our balcony door was broken, and the repairman never came during our five-night stay.

The food, service, and decor were great. The ground-floor rooms were extremely noisy from both inside and outside, and the beds weren’t comfortable.
