Hotel Am Haslinger Hof

The service was very good, and the staff were friendly, but the rooms felt outdated. The spa facilities were spread a little far apart, and although the pool was advertised at 34 degrees, it didn't feel that warm when we got in. We brought our one-year-old. There are playgrounds and a petting zoo, but they weren't really suited to his age. Most guests seemed to be over 60. On Friday and Saturday nights, the place fills up with people coming for the dance hall, also mostly over 60. That made the buffet dinner crowded and a bit uncomfortable for families with small children.

We only came on Friday night for the nightclub, so that's all I'm rating. It's a huge place with different kinds of music across three areas, and we had a good time. The security staff were arrogant and unfriendly, though maybe there's little reason for them to hassle anyone when the average guest is 126 years old. As a night out for entertainment, it's well worth it.

A lovely spot for a getaway, even for one night. The indoor pond is great for swimming, and there are lovely spa and sauna areas, delicious food, and extremely friendly staff. Kids are welcome too, with outdoor activities including a petting zoo, bumper cars, and playgrounds. We'll definitely be back.

The buffet has a new setup: choose whatever you like, whether meat, fish, vegetables, or dessert, and pay by the kilo regardless of what you pick. Their own beer is a marvel. It's a wonderful, enormous place, with space for dancing, live music, and a disco.
