The restaurant serves some delicious food. The rooms need updating, since a few details aren't in good condition. Guests are supposed to adjust the room temperature, but unfortunately I couldn't do that in my room.

Service was friendly and efficient, and breakfast was good in a pleasant dining area. The rooms were clean and spacious, but lacked the small extras I'd expect from a four-star hotel. Kirchheim unter Teck is a beautiful town, and the atmospheric Altstadt is about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel itself sits by an unattractive main road, with a municipal car park as the main view from the rooms. Given all that, I think the prices are at least 50% too high.

Breakfast is best early: get there at 7, or 8 at the latest, if you want the croissants and salmon before they go. The hotel still uses physical room keys, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Mattresses are on the hard side. Overall, the place feels clean and tidy, almost classy.

I've stayed here pretty often for work, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and good. Breakfast is included and has always been good, with gluten-free bread available. They have rooms with AC, just mention it when you book. Looking forward to my next stay.

The room was comfortable and nice, and the restaurant serves very good meals. My only gripe is that there's no air conditioning. It gets quite warm in the rooms, so opening the window is the only option. Otherwise, a very nice place.
