Scenic Retreat Near Kirchheim

A lovely, quiet city and a good place to stop over. The building is old, but very clean and cozy 😊 The staff are nice and helpful, and breakfast is really good 👍

We got a good night's rest in the clean, tidy, quiet rooms, despite being fairly close to the highway. The breakfast was varied, tasty, and nicely laid out. The parking was good too, and we found a walk around the beautiful neighborhood relaxing. Our car had broken down, so we arrived late, but we could still order dinner and eat it in our room. The staff were kind and understanding with all of us, especially our children. Sincere thanks and appreciation to the team.

I've been a tour guide, and our group has used this hotel for many years. The kitchen is good, the staff are very friendly, and it's an excellent overnight stop when traveling through Germany. Many Danes know the hotel too, after reading about it in a magazine.

The delicious breakfast and parking for the car were the good parts. The room had no air conditioning and looked like it hadn't been decorated since the 70s. There was no guest information leaflet or phone in the room, so I couldn't call reception to ask for the Wi-Fi password, for example.
