Mühlenhof Franken

Right outside is a little pond with loungers and a fitness trail, and you can get into the forest easily too. The balcony looks out over a field, with a really lovely view, and the setting is very peaceful. Würzburg, Wertheim, and Bad Mergentheim are all easy to reach if you want a change of pace. There's even a snack vending machine down at the farm for when you get hungry. The apartments are in a historic mill, with stone and wooden beams alongside high ceilings, big windows, balconies, and modern conveniences. They're beautifully finished and fully modern, with a distinctive rustic feel. The stairs mean they're not suitable for dogs or anyone with mobility problems. We were able to bring our horses, though, since they don't need to climb the stairs. A nice choice for a quiet stay or a romantic weekend.

Everything we needed was there, and the bathroom and kitchen were both really nice. The holiday apartment was lovely. The kettle and coffee machine could do with a descale, though.
