The evening restaurant serves the best German food in town, at a reasonable price, and breakfast was nice too. The place is simple, with slightly old-fashioned decor, but it’s quiet and stays very warm in winter. I was pleasantly surprised to find the smaller rooms, which are still comfortable, cost around 37 Euros even though the advertised rates are about 60 Euros. Highly recommend.

There’s a lovely courtyard, and a restaurant is planned for it. Hopefully they find a promising tenant. Renovation is still underway, with 11 high-quality, fully furnished apartments due to be built this year.
