We chose this place because it was out of the way and parking was cheap. That made it very quiet, and it's close to Potsdam and the road to Berlin when arriving from Tropical Island. Given how remote it is, I think the parking should be free. It's behind the hotel, but you have to walk around to get inside, and there isn't even a spot out front to unload luggage. The hotel feels like a standard Ibis that's a little dated, with its small elevator, narrow hallways and room furniture, though everything worked fine. Since I hadn't booked through the Accor website, I was told I couldn't earn membership points for this stay. That was a first for me. Unless this is a new policy, I've been able to do so at every other Accor hotel.

Just stopped overnight. The bed was clean and comfortable enough, and the shower got nice and hot. McDonald's is a three-minute walk away, so I had breakfast there. Great timing, since I'd been short on junk food for a month!

The beds were nice and the room was clean enough, but the bathroom was awful. The towels were folded messily, and the place smelled of cigarettes. It was obvious someone had smoked there, and they hadn't done enough to clear the smell. Turning on the bathroom fan only made it worse.

I needed an affordable, decent place to stay while visiting friends for a funeral near Berlin. The IBIS Dreilinden Hotel is a little aged, but it had what I needed for a short visit. There's American fast food about a two-minute walk away, and they serve Radeberger beer on tap until midnight. Breakfast is basic, though the cappuccino is good. I did miss having a non-pork sausage option. I'd consider staying again on my own.

The rooms are tiny and there's no kettle, though the shower was okay. Staff were okay too. You can take a short bus ride to the nearest S-Bahn, about nine minutes, but the location is still awful. It's in a desolate business district between Berlin and Liepzig, with a McDonald's and the tiniest petrol station shop I've ever seen, and basically nothing else. One to avoid.
