Ferienwohnung am Klostersee

Cool.

We spent Pentecost weekend there, three of us. The place is basic, but it did the job perfectly well. Having the shower and toilet in separate rooms was a real plus. I do wonder if they could arrange the rooms differently, perhaps leaving one empty when the place isn't full.

We had everything we needed in the conference room, and could unwind on our own terrace by the lake during breaks and in the evenings, with the sunset and natural surroundings around us. The guesthouse is in an idyllic lakeside setting, with rooms for one person or several. Meals are served buffet-style in the dining room. There are also art installations on the grounds and a café right by the lake.

I come here regularly with our painting group and love it. It’s such a good place to relax. You can rent a studio and rooms, and choose to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner or not. Sculptures by artists who have worked and stayed here are dotted around the garden. The gallery and lakeside café open on weekends. A lovely spot for artists and people who enjoy art. 🩷
