The gym was the biggest surprise for me: it’s up under the roof and has top equipment for both cardio and lifting weights. Towels, disinfectant, and water were available, though you have to pay for the water. I didn’t like that. I think it should be included with the workout. I was glad I could use the gym early in the morning, since it wasn’t closed and I was there alone as a woman in the dark. The staff were friendly, and my room was spacious. When it got colder outside, I could turn on the heating. There was also a mini fridge and a complimentary bottle of water. Parking was free and spacious. The hotel is among apartment blocks and houses, and I think there was one shop close by. Breakfast wasn’t large, but there was something for everyone, from cereal and bread to eggs, jam, and cheese. The egg-cooking setup was frustrating. I asked about scrambled eggs, but the staff member said she’d make sunny-side-up eggs first for another guest. Nobody else had asked for eggs so far, so I had to wait. She had several heated areas but used only one, and I didn’t have all day to wait. I chose different eggs instead and still don’t understand why I couldn’t have scrambled eggs. Next time I’ll speak up at breakfast. I’d still recommend the hotel.

We stopped by the beer garden for a few beers. Prices were average, but the young woman serving us was exceptional: polite, professional, and spoke English. She’s a credit to the brand. Highly recommend.

We showed up with a group of more than 20 and barely gave them any notice, yet they had tables ready for us. The staff were very friendly and organized, and particularly helpful to the guests who didn’t speak German. We were also pleased to see several vegetarian dishes and even a vegan option on the menu. The food was really nice.

Really liked the hotel :) Breakfast was delicious, and I loved the quiet, stylish ceiling fan in the room. So much nicer than the noisy, energy-hungry air conditioning most hotels have.
