The trains are fairly close, and the noise can be disturbing at times. Most pass quickly and aren't loud, but freight trains are an exception, so bring earplugs. The owner is available for questions, though she works mornings and you have to wait until she's finished. The apartment is close to perfect. It's super clean, tastefully furnished, and has a fully equipped kitchen with high tech appliances. At 50m2, there's room for 2-3 guests, and the price is much more reasonable than elsewhere. You can use the shared garden too. Even when it's very hot or rainy, I don't feel frustrated, since we can eat in the living room while looking out at the Moselle, vineyards, farmland, and impressive hills. Klotten is a cute, historic little village with nicely kept houses, both old and modern, and an interesting church. There's just one bakery and a cute little shop, so you need to take the ferry across the Moselle to the shopping centre with Aldi, Rewe, DM, and a few small cafes.
