We were in Offenbach for work this week, and this hotel felt so cute and homey, with a bit of a rustic feel. Since there's not much choice nearby out in the countryside, it's better to eat at the hotel. The reception team and all the staff were perfect: friendly, kind, and happy to get you whatever you need. Our room was very cute too, and I slept really well. Thanks for the nights we spent there. We'll definitely come back to this hotel with its family feeling!

What keeps bringing us back is how much we enjoy staying here. More than a century ago, the mill belonged to an ancestor of my wife's mother, which first made us curious about the property. The rooms are roomy and spotless, the countryside around it is peaceful, and we thought the restaurant food was excellent. From the outside, the Knittelsheimer Muhle keeps its historical, original look, while indoors it's been made modern and practical. This is our second year here, and we have no hesitation in recommending it strongly. We'll return next year.

Breakfast was fresh and very good, and the service was lovely. This is a charming little Gasthaus in the forest, with renovated rooms, new showers, fly screens, and electric blinds.

The rooms are great, and the location is awesome. I did notice some cobwebs in the corners and empty soap dispensers, but it's still a great place.
