We had such a lovely room looking out over Jesuit Square, right above a cafe. The food and coffee were great, and the staff were lovely. They even offered to carry our bags up three flights of spiral stairs. It feels like they really want everything to be perfect. We hope to come back!

Great spot for brunch, and the cake selection is amazing too. Definitely recommend it.

The room had a lovely view of the old square, and we could easily walk to lots of restaurants and attractions. We arrived after hours, but the staff helped us arrange access to the lock box and get our room key. Just be aware that with the window open, you can hear everything well into the evening.

We spent a lovely couple of days here. The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice view over the square. They changed the towels and bedding every day. There are stairs only, no elevator, and no AC, though the building stays fairly cool. Would recommend!

The charming square where the Altstad Hotel restaurant is located made for a pleasant setting, and we enjoyed the delicious food. Most of the staff were very friendly. The person behind the counter, though, was quite rude when we simply asked what cakes they had. She reacted sharply and nearly shouted, and didn't want to take the time to explain the choices.
