I only ran into one real issue while working: the WiFi on the fifth floor kept cutting out. Otherwise, the room had what I needed for a business trip. It felt a little dated, but I don't need anything more than that.

The staff were friendly and the service was okay. The room was fairly spacious, with a mini fridge and a small kitchen, and parking was free. It's also near a supermarket, so it suited us for a quick overnight stop off the Autobahn. Still, the place is old and pretty worn. Cleaning could have been better: there were stains on the table tops, fingerprints on the cups, and a dirty carpet that needs replacing. We didn't feel comfortable making coffee with those cups. The shower had no soap, though luckily we brought our own. There was no air conditioning, so we slept with the windows open and it wasn't very quiet. Maybe we just caught it on a bad day. It has potential, but my impression is that it's a below-average, cheap budget hotel for basic needs or a very short stay.

The service was great, and breakfast was good too. My room faced the Outlet and was quiet enough. Some colleagues stayed on the Autobahn side, though, and said it was really loud at night. The rooms were clean apart from the carpet, which badly needs replacing.

If you're after a trip back to the 70s, this is the place. The rooms have that period look, there's no AC, and the fan is louder than a heavy metal concert.
