Hotel am Wasserfall

Free parking and a nice spa were pluses, and the service was friendly, professional, and helpful. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety. The hotel has a pleasant, almost community-like feel and is accessible. The rooms are a bit dated and don't have air conditioning, a safe, or a fridge, though they were still cozy. A really nice place for a pleasant stay.

I've been coming to Lingen every March, and for the last five years I've stayed at Hotel am Wasserfall. It's in a special spot, surrounded by nature, with long, interesting walks nearby. The Wehr makes some noise, but the sound of the falling water is nice. The new breakfast room is clean, modern, and very pleasant. My rooms have always been tidy, clean, and fully equipped, and they're perfectly okay.

The river and little waterfall made for a great view, and the staff were polite. My room was clean, too. There wasn't air conditioning or window screens, so I had to let in lots of bugs to cool the room enough to sleep at night. The free WiFi was pretty unreliable.

Set beside a dam on the Ems, with a waterfall in the river, the hotel is right at the end of the road, so it's quiet with no through traffic. There's a wellness area downstairs and a big restaurant with outdoor seating. The breakfast buffet was nice. A large campsite is nearby, and there's an e-bike charging point in front of the hotel. The rooms were clean and the hotel was very nice.
