Apartmentcenter Koblenz

I can't recommend this accommodation after staying two weeks and leaving early. The building is visibly old and poorly maintained. Inside the apartment, paint was peeling in several places. The kitchen had a dated feel, the refrigerator and countertops weren't cleaned well, and there was a garbage smell under the sink. Furnishings were sparse, and there was only one large towel. The shower was especially neglected, with mold in many places, a faulty ventilation system, and mold marks on the ceiling that seemed to have been painted over. There was nowhere to hang towels to dry and no electrical outlets. During the week, a construction site in front of the building caused a lot of noise, and there was also a school nearby. The glass recycling container was right in front of the accommodation. The residential area felt like a social hotspot, and there were noise disturbances at night as well. When I complained about the apartment's poor condition, the complaints were ignored. Instead, the tenant was told it was "residential" and threatened with legal action from the Wolf law firm. The necessary cleaning wasn't done, and the property manager repeatedly entered the apartment without permission or waiting for consent. The so-called "bicycle parking area" was only accessible through overgrown bushes. It wasn't secure: the wooden rack wasn't anchored to the ground. Storing bikes inside the apartment was discouraged, and reminders were sent.

We had a very nice, modern-looking apartment, even though the pictures gave a different impression. Towels, dishwashing supplies, and other basics were kindly provided. Our balcony had a beautiful view of the fortress, and the courtyard parking was a real plus: it could only be opened with a key, so not just anyone could get in. There were washing machines in the basement too, where you could do your laundry for a small fee. When we unexpectedly got stuck in traffic, we were able to change our arrival time flexibly that same day through Booking.com. The office was staffed in the mornings, and we were always greeted warmly and got answers to our questions. They even let me print some very important documents there, which was extremely helpful since there was nowhere else nearby. A great alternative to a hotel. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in Koblenz.

Having your own kitchen gave me the freedom to be independent, which makes this a great alternative to a hotel, especially for business travelers. Email communication was easy, and they were flexible with travel plans. The furnishings were adequate, clean, and well maintained, though some weren't new. Some furniture in my apartment was new already. The bed and mattress were super comfortable, and the view of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress was magnificent. The weekly cleaning service was excellent, and the Wi-Fi worked well enough for streaming. I'd definitely stay again.

The apartment is in a quiet area, and the room is well laid out with everything you need. The Wi-Fi is unusable, though: even when you get a signal, it times out frequently. There are also things that need attention, like the peeling white protective film on the bathroom door and areas that need fresh paint. If you're staying a full week and depend on Wi-Fi, you won't be happy here.
