Hotel Kleiner Riesen

The price feels fair, and the location right by the Rhein is good. One thing to know: the restaurant hours listed on the website aren't accurate, and they close early, so check with the hotel. We were lucky to find good restaurants up the street towards the Main Station.

The bed was really comfortable, and our room stayed quiet. It’s a lovely hotel near Koblenz’s main train and bus station.

After cycling the Moselle path, we spent two nights here. The location made it easy to reach the Hbh and German Corner/sky tram, and the Rhein views right outside were hard to beat. Construction along the Rhein promenade meant taking a detour up and around, but it wasn’t a big deal. The staff were welcoming and professional, and as vegetarians we were very pleased with the dinners we had here both nights. They upgraded us to a top floor room with a balcony, and the mechanized roll down curtain kept out all the noise so we could sleep in. The room was spacious, quiet, and very well appointed. Breakfasts were incredible, with plenty of options and amazing coffee. We felt like royalty. A great stay in Koblenz!

Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a balcony looking out over the river. Breakfast came as a varied buffet. It’s a well-established hotel on the banks of the Rhine, a short walk from the main rail station and about 20 minutes on foot to the old town.
