Hotel am Möllenberg

Having to check out at 10:00 when check-in isn't until 15:00 is a bit of a downer. :(

👍 Nice hotel

We've stayed at this hotel around five times this year, usually for a long weekend, and even spent a full week there in March. They always greet us warmly. The rooms and bathrooms are consistently spotless, and breakfast is included. Some other hotels could take a lesson from their idea of a proper breakfast. It's quiet, they make allowances when we arrive late, and everything we need is taken care of. Whenever we're nearby, we come back. The owner and his manager are lovely people, and we've become so fond of both of them, almost like we've known each other forever.

My room was just what I expected, and the staff were very friendly. Reception was excellent. I didn't need breakfast, but €7 seemed reasonable, as did the €50 room rate. It's a good fit if you're passing through or want an affordable place for a short break. Some people complain, but this isn't a star-rated hotel, so you should expect a few compromises. Look closely enough and you'll always find something somewhere.
