Ibis Budget Bonn Süd Königswinter

The rooms are funky and budget friendly, and parking is free!!! The staff were nice too. Great place to stay 😄.

The staff were helpful, and the setting is beautiful, so there were some real positives. It’s also right off the A3, which is very convenient. But our room wasn’t clean when we moved in, with dirt on the floor, and cleaning only happens when you ask. The beds are very basic and uncomfortable. We were with a school group and had booked three nights, but left after two. Next time I’d rather stay in Cologne or Bonn.

I’ve stayed here occasionally while travelling to the Netherlands. The internet is quite good, and I was able to work and take video call meetings. The rooms are ordinary but clean, and the location is convenient, apart from now, when the return route to the highway is closed. I tried breakfast on my last visit. It was simple, with what you need, though the coffee machine had a problem.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel has a spa, fitness center, and well-regarded restaurant. I found the rooms spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with some looking out over the river or city. There are exceptional Rhine River views, especially from the rooftop bar, which has a great atmosphere and panoramic outlook. The Bonn Marriott Hotel is near the World Conference Center and the Museum Mile, making it a convenient base for business or leisure.
