I've stayed in two different rooms, and one bed was better than the other. The hotel has a cozy look, and the terrace/Biergarten has a nice view of the pool and town. The food was quite nice.

Frodo, our Labrador, was comfortable here and even welcome in the restaurant. The village walks were fun too, with what seemed like at least one dog in every household ☺️. We had half-board, and the meals were delicious and varied. Our room was clean, nicely furnished and well-maintained, and the staff were wonderfully attentive. You really feel welcome. Highly recommend, and we'll be back! 🥰

We brought our motorcycles, and the bikes were even allowed to stay in the courtyard 🥰. The hostess also suggested some lovely routes through the Thuringian Forest, with the cozy little village making a perfect starting point for tours. There were plenty of quiet corners to relax around the lovely hotel complex and pool. The rooms were newly renovated and great, and breakfast was generous and delicious, with anything missing replenished right away. Dinner was divine, with a small but excellent menu. The owners and all the staff were super friendly, accommodating and welcoming. We wholeheartedly recommend it! Astrid & Jörg

The rural setting was beautifully quiet, and parking is about 80 meters from the hotel. Motorcycles can go in the courtyard. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, with excellent mattresses. The cuisine was superb, including wines from the Saale-Unstrut region, and breakfast was extensive. Everyone on staff was friendly, and the owner was charming. Great value, highly recommended!
