Having Motorworld right outside the room made the stay especially fun for a car fan. There’s plenty to look at in the displays, and you can spend hours wandering around without leaving the complex. The hotel also has several restaurants and bars, so it’s easy to find different food and a drink without going elsewhere. The rooms are bright and spacious, with high ceilings and large windows. They’re clean, modern, and comfortable, and the beds were extremely comfortable too. The car theme runs through the décor and each room has its own style, but it still feels like a relaxing place to stay. V8 Hotel Köln @ Motorworld is a memorable choice if you enjoy cars.

Paying an extra €20 to check in two hours early felt unnecessary and not very customer-friendly, especially since the room was already ready. The stay was disappointing for the price and what I expected. There was also a strong sewage smell in the room as soon as I walked in, and it stayed throughout my visit.

I loved the car-shaped bed, it’s a dream for anyone who’s still a kid at heart and loves cars. The staff were super friendly, and the food on site was unreal. Definitely try the steak at the relaxed diner. The hotel also gives you access to the motoring world display exhibition, with car details to enjoy around the place. It’s only a short tram ride into cologne, too. A must stay for motoring fans.

You can go straight into the museum from this amazing hotel. The food was great, and so were the staff. If you’re in the area, this is definitely the place to stay.

If you’re a petrol head, the cars on show make this a great place to stay. The hotel is close to the centre of Köln, clean, and well-equipped, with a good selection of restaurants and other amenities on site. It’s easy to reach, and the nearby tram stop makes getting into the city centre simple. I had a great stay and would recommend it.
