We were there just to eat. Service was attentive and friendly, and the prices were good. The plaice portions were plentiful, though unfortunately the fish were very small. The plaice was overcooked for my taste, perhaps left cooking too long, but it still tasted good.

There’s a particularly good choice of fish dishes, and the menu is clear. Our three kids quickly picked what they wanted from the “little ones” page, and the portions suited everyone’s appetite. The food was fresh and cooked just right. It’s a family-friendly place with courteous, attentive service. We had a delicious dinner, felt very comfortable there as a family, and thought the value for money was excellent. Definitely worth recommending!

We won’t be coming back. I work in the restaurant business myself, and the food we got was cold. My wife’s Cordablue was cold too. The service was great and the place was fantastic, but I’d been given kale instead of bacon. I asked if I could have something else, but that wasn’t taken into account. No stars from us for the chef, sorry.
