Reservations are a good idea since this popular traditional restaurant fills up. We ate there twice during our July visit. On the second visit, we tried the Spanferkel, offered every Tuesday, after booking as soon as we saw it on the menu. It was great. The first night we enjoyed the fish dishes, and our son had schnitzel. It was schnitzel day, so all the variations were discounted. A great place!

We had a lovely meal, and they even served free fish soup. The portions are huge, so they offered us a box for the schnitzel we couldn't finish. There are loads of schnitzel options and plenty of other dishes too, very impressive. It was a hot day and the outdoor tables were full, but there was plenty of room inside. It was quieter there, which we really liked. 👌
