A nice, small, family-owned hotel in a good location, about 15 minutes on foot from the Rhine Tower. The rooms and bathrooms are big, though I wouldn't recommend it in hot weather.

The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to handle requests, from something special at breakfast to keeping ice packs in the refrigerator during summer. The hotel is centrally located and close to Lake Constance. There are free parking spaces behind the building, plus plenty in front, sometimes for a fee. The rooms are clean and spacious enough, with a TV and working minibar. Bathrooms and the large shower are always clean. The only downside is how much the floorboards creak, though that's to be expected in an old building. The hotel is cleaned daily. Maybe a ceiling fan would help in summer 😁. It's a very nice, family-run place that really deserves its award. We'll definitely be back.

The rooms are a bit dated, but they have a lot of charm. Our attic room got stuffy in the heat, though luckily there was a fan. The location is fantastic, central but on a quiet side street.
