There aren’t many parking spaces, but the food is good and reasonably priced. It’s a traditional, home-style restaurant serving down-to-earth Swabian cuisine.

The food really is delicious, but finding a hair in my soup was disgusting. Then I found another hair in the sauce on my main dish. I went there today, and that was just not okay at all.

We were refugees from Ukraine, staying here in March-April during the hardest time for our country. Familie Rommel and the pesonnel of Landgastof Kreuz welcomed us with heartfelt support, and our heavily discounted stay at this nice hotel felt safe and very pleasant. Everyone treated us so kindly. At checkout, they even didn’t want to take the small amount of money we paid. Many thanks and best wishes to the people who run this hotel. Gute Leute, danke shön!

We’ve been here before, and I’m sure we’ll come back again. The short drive out of Konstanz is worth it for the traditional, warm setting, excellent German food, and friendly, impeccable service.

The rooms felt cozy, like being at your grandma’s house, and the receptionist gave us such a warm welcome. Breakfast was fresh and really good, with lots of homemade jams. The hotel is 5 minutes from the port, 37 minutes from the city center, and 20 minutes from Überlingen by ferry. There’s a supermarket and pharmacy just a minute away. Cleaning was okay, but below what I expected. The rest of the staff were friendly and always smiling, so we had a very good stay.
