Chérisy Hotel Konstanz - Self Check-in Only

I’ve stayed here many times and always liked the place. But when I asked the receptionist for an offer on a longer booking, possibly more than two months or even six, she was unfriendly, arrogant, and unhelpful, like she didn’t want to work. I also asked her to hold the room for 12 h, but she didn’t. She wrote back with a smile and an arrogant tone, and meanwhile another client booked my room for one day. I hope the owner reads this and understands what she’s doing, so she doesn’t lose more clients like me.

The service was excellent and the room was very clean, though a little warm. The nightclub downstairs was noisy during my stay since the rooms aren’t soundproof. A kettle, cups, and tea in the room would be a welcome addition. The elevator was out of service while I was there.

Getting in was easy, and the chatbot was genuinely helpful. The check-in was simple too, and all in all I had a positive stay. My complaints were the unreliable Wi-Fi, cleanliness issues like wall stains and dirt under the beds, and a fairly loud bar outside the rooms facing the city.

I booked at the last minute that evening, and getting in with the digital key was so easy. No waiting around, and the host sent all the information I needed straight away. The price felt fair for the place. A solid stay, and I’d definitely book again.
