Hotel Am Yachthafen

I would NOT recommend this hotel. I’m in a dispute with them. I booked two nights with my 9 months old baby, but my baby got really sick and I couldn’t travel. I contacted them to cancel, but they charged me anyway and refused to even listen. I called five times and sent two emails trying to find a solution. As a responsible parent, I couldn’t travel with a sick baby. They NEVER even bothered to talk to me. They charged me 128euros. Their customer service is disgusting. Please save your money and don’t go there.

I stayed for a week recently. The room was nice and well equipped, and the staff were helpful. There was no breakfast available in winter. The view of the lake was great.

The terrace was a lovely place to sit, with tables, loungers, and rocking chairs available around the clock. The breakfast room beside it is beautiful and well kept, with a retro look, though I didn't try the breakfast. The staff were warm and gave us plenty of information about the property, nearby restaurants within walking distance, free beaches, and things to see in the area. There’s reserved parking nearby, and the room was attractive, with a shared balcony and two lounge chairs. It also had an espresso machine and complimentary pods. The setting by Lake Constance feels peaceful, even though the new property is in an unusual spot above a shipyard warehouse near the marina. The main drawback is the lack of air conditioning, which would be a serious issue in summer heat. There was no housekeeping during our multi-day stay, and the espresso supplies weren't replenished either. Constance is about a 30-minute drive away.
