The landlords were very nice, and the kitchen was fully equipped apart from having no oven, convection microwave, or dishwasher. Wi-Fi worked excellently. There wasn’t a view from the terrace, and hot water took three minutes to come through after turning on the tap, which felt like such a waste of water 😞. Otherwise it was perfectly fine, and a handy base for exploring in any direction.

There was a chilled bottle of cremant waiting in the fridge when we arrived, a lovely touch. The welcome was friendly, and the apartment was exceptionally clean and hygienic. It’s small, but had everything we needed, and the value for money was excellent.

Our hosts were lovely, attentive, and welcoming to pets. The apartment is small but well laid out, just right for us since we didn’t need anything else. It’s quiet there and makes a good base for trips to the Saar and Moselle rivers, or towards Luxembourg.

Even with the bad weather, we got out and explored Germany by bike. We had a really pleasant week, and our hosts were thoughtful and much appreciated. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The quiet, leafy neighborhood was lovely. Birds woke us in the morning, and every so often a squirrel would come and have a curious look at us. There’s plenty to see nearby, from viewpoints over the Saar and Moselle rivers to Saarburg, an open-air museum, and Trier. We were welcomed very hospitably by Mr. and Mrs. Everything was in perfect order, very good value for money, and spotlessly clean.
