We had a great stay thanks to the kind, understanding owners. The food was amazing, and so was the Schnapps!

The breakfast was great on the lovely terrace, and the hosts were the sweetest. It's tucked away in beautiful nature. We arrived late and couldn't get a table at the restaurant, so you may need to book that morning. We'd definitely come back.

The garden is a lovely spot for breakfast, and you can have an evening meal there if you order ahead. The hotel sits above Kordel, about a 25-minute uphill walk from the village, with forest and the neighbouring castle in view. It's peaceful, and the owners are helpful and friendly. There's a train station in the village with a quick direct ride to Trier, and the place has strong eco credentials, including ten car charging points.

Dinner was delicious, made with herbs from the owners' own garden. The location is beautiful, and the hotel owners are really friendly and make sure you have a great stay.

The room was perfect, and the hosts gave us a friendly welcome. Such a beautiful setting, and a great place to spend a few days.
