The pool and sauna were clean, and though small, they were enough. There wasn’t a quiet area, unfortunately. The complex itself is lovely and peaceful, great for unwinding, with a really well-equipped apartment and comfortable beds. It’s also a good base for hikes, and day trips toward Ahlbeck by car or by train with the visitor's card add plenty of variety.

The apartment was okay, but the vacuum in apartment 602 needs replacing. It scratches the floor more than it cleans, so the place somehow always feels dirty. The pool is nice, but it’s clearly aging, with discoloration and peeling coatings, and it’s simply too cold. You can’t swim laps there, so after about 30 minutes without much movement you’re freezing. It’s especially too cold for kids, who are usually in there having fun. Even two degrees warmer would make a difference. More generally, the whole complex feels old and needs a full overhaul, from the furniture and pool to the utensils. It’s okay for a vacation, but with all the updating needed and the higher price, I wouldn’t book again. There are apartments in better shape.
